Well they postponed Starcraft Ghost as we all know it... but could they have implanted Starcraft: Ghost 's storyline into Starcraft 2?

If you take a look at one of the artworks, the one with Mengsk (I think), theres a ghost behind him... kinda half cloaked half decloaked, coudl that be Nova?

well SCghost was collected into a paperback novel, so i dont think that SCII will follow that story. Actual from interviews, they have said that while much of the single player hasn't been completed, it will continues the stories of Kerrigan, Rayner, and Zeratul etc.

You got the spelling correct, Ntrik_. It would be a pity for all the work that was put into StarCraft: Ghost to be entirely wasted. I hope Blizzard manages to incorporate something derived from Ghost into the game even if it be solely a couple character concepts or something. I don't know how a company like Blizzard may or may not intend to use abandoned material like that but it would be cool if they did manage to incorporate some recognizable Ghost ideas in the game's storyline.

I don't know what you'd have possibly missed. There was a book being written to accompany StarCraft: Ghost as seems to be fairly common with more popular games nowadays. However, StarCraft: Ghost was canceled and the book which focused on Nova was released three months afterwards. The book has a few of the rough storyline concepts from Ghost but the various development teams that worked for Blizzard must have pumped a huge amount of work into the game. To see virtually all of the approximately four years worth of artwork, models, and storyline ideas and concepts that were developed for Ghost entirely wasted seems a big shame to me.

You have obviously never heard of a game called Lord of the Clans, whereby more than halfway into production Bill Roeper pulled the plug right before E3, canceling a game which was almost ready for market because it wasn't to the standard they wanted. "After over a year of hard work, press tours, magazine covers, and fan fervor Blizzard announced that WarCraft Adventures: Lord of the Clans was cancelled days before E3." The entire thing was collected into a novel, and while the story continues, the gamre remained cancelled. It is obvious that Starcraft Ghost has gone the same way.
