The title explains it. Create a race/unit you want to see in Starcraft2.

be sure to put Unit Name (and/or Race Name if possible), Attack, Ranged/melee, Armor, Armor type, mineral cost, gas cost, supply cost, and abilities along with its energy cost. I dont have time to make one now, so i want you guys to start off.

I liked my gunblader idea. im sure it would spark many final fantasy related maps, but i liked the idea of a unit being able to attack melee with one weapon, and attack ranged with another. anyway, i think seeing an army of unbladers would be awesome to withhold, especially if a lee7 command0r h4xx0rz j00 and PWNs joo.

the annihilater is nice, but its too powerful, too imbalanced. the darkener really appeals to me..
i can think of so many strategies to work with that.

Well, it's about as slow as a Marine on foot. Baiscally it's slow but powerful. Big hearty tank. The Darkener is something I personally refined time after time to fit the name. I personally love the unit too.

How made: a scv is infested by some guy in the hybrid race
what does: it gets out of the scv and kisses other men like marines and ***** them and then they die from his ugly **** and then they shoot it off and the scv dies and the men die from frite and their corpses are sitting there naked and then everything decays cept their ***** which comes alive and goes in pplz mouths and ****** them =)

Terran: Shark hybrid
During the brood wars, terrans were brutally decimated by melee warfare. Their long range tactics were at times put down by their enemies especially with cloud and disruption weaponry. Though terrans could compensate for this weakness the terrans have created an amphibious type warrior. The shark hybrid is a perfect assault fighter. Grown from tubes by crossing human DNA with that of a shark. These creatures now serve the might of the UED and will fight with predatory ferocity. They are kept under control by mind dampeners similar to Terran ghosts. This unit is both front line combatant and underwater scout. Though seemingly subserviant, some believe they might show hints of intelligence.

Damage: Rocket Javelin - 25 - Missile type (half damage on hydras, lings stuff like that, full damage to metal and robots)
Range: 5-6 Matrix (Warcraft wise 700)

Attack cooldown: One javelin every 3-4 seconds or so.
Armor: Terran Infantry
Built at: Barracks
Requirements: Academy and Machine Shop
Upgrades with: Terran Infantry
Cost: 125/25/1


Uranium Warhead - Increases splash radius
Javelin Thrusters - Increases range to 850 ft and allows you to attack air.


This unit would be for strong explosive damage when you need it the most. Support these with ground troops to destroy most ground and air forces.

Background: Okay, the terran were experimenting on an AI to help manuever unmanned units into war but the plan went phooey and as usual, the AI turn on their creators and then struggle to survive themselves... ADAM happens to be programs name, which adds to the irony since Adam is also the first man created by God.... but whatever
Unit
Some example units
Z22 Cyborg: Basically an marine with more machine than man and as a result is controlled by the machine.
Attack: Rapid Fire Unit, damage: 12, +2 with subsequent upgrades (so if its maxed at 3, it'll be +6)
Range: Long
Hit Points: 40
Armor: 5 (+1 with subsequent upgrades)
Cost: 160 minerals, time to build:15 seconds

Upgrades:
Charged Shot: a mode where the frequency of shot goes down but the damage goes up to 40. This mode can be turned on and off with the click of a button.

Scav 2-A: The basic resource collector but instead of just collecting and moving back, they just sit there at the minerals and very much like WCIII, +5 minerals just pops up every once in a while.

Abilities: mine
HP: 90
Armor: 6 (with +.5)
Up Grades: Metallic Coating, +4 armor.

Race:I'll just call it the "Odeon" (basically a specialized water race, i hope sc2 introduces water units, maybe Xel Naga will serve this purpose but who knows, since so far we know there is a "hybrid" and there is a xel naga)
Background: Cousins of the zerg this race had been dormant for many years. Unlike their insectizoid zerg relatives, these resemble more of a reptilian/amphibious mix. They are "more" evolved so to speak.

Attack: Ram, 30, (+4 with subsequent upgrades)

Abilities:
Sonar:Ability to see cloaked units
Mist: Cloaks allied "water" units for 120 seconds.
Strengthened Dorsal Fin: Increases the speed by 20% in shallow waters, 30 % in deep waters

HP: 340
Armor: 6 (+.3333333333333333333333333333)

thats all my creative juices can think up of.... though i might see what i can come up with the xel naga or the hybrids....

Protoss Psihunter

Like a Night Elf Huntress, except a shady Protoss riding a beefed and armored Baanglas (those cats that roam Aiur).

Cost: 250 Minerals/60 Gas/4 Psi
HP/Shield: 200/100
Armor Type: Protoss Ground
Armor Level: 2
Attack: Psi Glaive - 15 damage - bounces off another target dealing half (+3 Increments)
Units: Ground-only and structures
Range - Roughly 2-3 Matrix (Close, but still missile)
Requires - Gateway (built at), Cybernetics Core, Templar Archives
Speed - Average, but it will move like a Vulture without Ion thrusters with Metabolism

Upgrades
Metabolism - Increases movement speed
Refined Psi Blades - Adds one more bounce
Psi Watcher - Allows the Psihunter to place an invisible machine that gives off sight, works only once and has 5 life.

This unit is ment to be a tank for things like Dragoons, Templars or get rid of Ground antiair to keep your carriers and scouts alive. To defeat it, just do real damage.

Abilities:

  • Pinpoint: Allows the Agent to launch a volley of rockets from a Nuclear Silo onto enemy units and buildings. The Pinpoint skill msets a red ring around an area, giving values on what % Damage the ropckets will do based on where you leave the red circle. Good for strategic bombing.
  • Advanced Comsat: The Agent transforms into a immobile, small reciever that measures the activity on the ground and in the air, allowing you to see your enemy before they come to you. Detects Cloaking Units.

  • Sheild Blast: (75) Destroys the sheild of 1 Allied Dragoon or Zealot to do a small AOE damage equal to that units armor when used. The chosen Zealot/Dragoon also loses health.
