Why? Xbox360 is out already and the PS3 will most likely to be released before they release ghost, and by then the 360 prices will drop and no one wants to play a shit-graphic xbox vanilla game so no ones going to buy it. Their insane taking-their-time method basically just bit them in their asses.

except for the fact the Xbox 360 has so many shortages they won't be able to replace thier own xbox systems, so people will still have a system they have to play.

Well that's not too good. If they have to what? Recompile all of the older games whats the point. Microsoft needs to rethink a lot of what they are doing.

X360 is pretty much fully compatible, with several exceptions. None of the game people care about though, so it doesn't really matter.

Theres no PS3 info saying it will be or not, but I don't see why it wouldn't be.

I know that Sony wants to make the PS3 backwards compatible, but because the PS3 is HD or something and PS2 isn't, it will cost some money.

Infact, although it has the best specs, it doesn't IMO have the best ideas. Big woop, it'll have 20 different ways to save your game file, omg, the controller fits more organically in your hand, great leaps in gaming brought to you by Sony. Nintendo on the other hand, will be truly backwards compatable.
