Should SC2 be 3D?

i dont think SC2 should be 3D kas i heard u cant make alot of units with it like WC2....only goes up 2 90...instead of 200...now for someone like me i like larger armies.....so i dont think SC2 should be 3D...in the long run

"in the long run" by the time SC2 comes out, most graphic cards will be brought up to the Xtreme.

either way works. you just have to learn how to adapt to the situation. A smaller army makes the game focus more on micro of specific units. whereas a larger army makes the game focus more on micro of everything

As MasterVirus said, graphics cards, processors, and most hardware that games depend on will have a major boost by the time SC:2 comes out. It's difficult to judge right now, but I think it SC needs to move on to 3D. If I want classic 2D gaming, I'll play Megaman =/.

on topic: it should be 3d as the units can be more detailed. in 2d, you can only get so much detail, but in 3d, you can make the units better, have camera rotations, and be able to scroll in and out. I got my bit in, now i'm happy.

1d is impossible and we live in an over 4d world. the fourth dimension is time.

so technically a 3d video game has 4 dimensions since time passes.

Anyways I think they should just be improved 2d graphics

yeah...i dunno, sc lags my comp anyway..but i think its my comps fault, cuz i run wc3 and diablo flawlessly... they should make a sc2, i dont wanna play ghost, im not into console games except like zelda
