Startcraft Beta

Hi, I am a user from warcraft and I like mainly to develop codes for maps and projects, I even have my own project coded in JASS and vJASS.
I heard there is a version of starcraft 2 released, Beta starctarft 2. As a coder I just would like to know if it is possible to get any information of the coding language StarCraft will use, will it be JASS ? Are there any scripts? Can we (coders) already start studying it's language and making preparations for new maps?

The Beta hasn't been released and will be a little while until it is.

The Map editor will have it's own scripting language (not JASS), and is based on C. Starcraft is written in C/C++.

The beta will not have an available copy of the map editor, and will be included in the retail version.

Mmm, so I guess there won't be a special Starcraft version for people who only want to code right?
Well, are there any news of the language? Like some details ? It would be good if people (I and some other interest fans) could start making some tutorials about it, I guess it would only benefit the community, however I am not in position to know if it would be a good idea.

It will basically be scripted version of C that'll include special parameters specifically designed for the map editor. That is all we know at the moment.

Even if we knew exactly what it is like now, it will probably be updated/changed between now and when it is ready for the public.

Let's not go into this again Pan... "a little while" is very roughly said, I'd say you can forget about releases earlier than August.
