You can't get one for free.

You can get keys to install for free, but they never work on battle.net.

Thats actually due to the fact that there are thousands of Bots online right now, each bot needs a seprate CD key, so if you manage to get lucky and type in a valid CD key, chances are that CD key is being used by something else...maybe...

No kidding. What made you think I did not imply that? Every player/user needs a different CDKey unless they use spawn or CHAT.

Lets see... A starcraft cdkey is 13 characters.. All numbers. Thats 9 to the 13th... 2541865828329 possible combinations. So much for guessing, huh?

Its pretty easy to get a cdkey that works for installing... But if you do get lucky and find one that connects to battle.net, its (a) muted, (b) in use my somebody else, or (c), will be once you disconnect.

Spend 10 bucks, or you can buy a Wc2 for about 5 from some people, myself included.
