I'm totally whit AKA-47

I' totally with the aka-47's proposition: build few high templars
-more effective that reavers- & you're IN...
With that, throw in about a group of dragoons so that it would be easier to cast psionic storm (both dragoons & hydras are ranged), and if you can recal a few "any units" behind his back in battle, he will have nowhere to run and nowhere to hide...
... a fast counter-attack will lead you to a fast and... something... victory
(just don't forget to bring few detectors to the cont-att)

Listen man if you're playin a good zerg player it doesn't matter it's all about the speed, if you got speed then you should be fine. Just go ahead and go sairs if you want to have fun and screw with his overlords (always a pain). If you want to be serious then go ahead and go Archons they are BEASTS! The last peice of advice I could give would just to go reaver drop like the man up top said, screw the Z's!

a drop of reavers su** ass big time

If you're playing with a good zerg player a drop like that doesn't do sh**. In first plase: if you have 5 shutles, a few hydras will destroy at least 2( if he plays it smart). In the second plase: a drop like that can't be all over the base (if u do it like that, all shutles will be lost). And in the third place: a tight 3 pairs of reavers against a group of zerglings and 4 lurkers... for cryin' out loud. You'll be begin' for mercy, when he counter-attacks you. Overall: the best drops are performed by dropping at least 3 diffrent unit tipes (find the best combination that suits you), and a small flying escort.
Personaly: I think the best drops are with the zergs.

its very hard to beat zerg when you let them tech to guardians, which usually happens to me. Mass lings and hydras with a group of guardians is too much. they have insane range and they fire quick with high damage.

You could build carriers and if u know were there base is attack from the right and left and u can take them out ive played alot of zerg players that dont build air defense so u should be able to take them out with carriers upgraded

Bump this thread, i need to up my post!

Carriers will wreck any race on non-money maps(sometimes, ppl will rely on only a good ground defense:)). If you play money maps, a quick easy way to win: Zealot pump. Attack with 1-3, 4, 5, 10(by the time my 4-8 gateways are done), and so on. Once you send 3 zealots in their undefended base, they are gone(unless he/she have sunkens early and didn't went hatcheries).

Going cars against the zerg isn't a good idea. I've done once and I was conducting a test to see what works and what doesn't. PvZ, I usually stay on the ground, with the exception of obs and shuttles. Maybe corsairs.

corsairs and scouts are nice to have. and carriers are useful if you got zealots and cliff. when you pop your carriers over the hydras will run under dark swarm and if you cliff they can only hit interceptors... now the hydras are all under swarm so use your zealots. they will choose between being protected from carriers and not being able to attack zealots or retreating. if you dont have speed upgrade for zealots you probably wont make it to the hydras cuz youll get plauged. but a few zealots can help when your enemy is under dark swarm. just remember that your carriers should never be unescorted. carriers are weak without an escort to defend against enemy air. another thing with carriers is dont overdo it... 3-4 carriers is plenty and carriers take alot os psi not to mention time and money.

Its just that the zerg will already outnumber you and going carriers isn't the answer. Its best to pressure the zerg early. Plus the lack of viable counters against ultra-lings. Plus other imbalances in this matchup that make it nearly impossible to beat zerg as protoss.

it all depends on who discovers who first. if they discovered u first then pray to god. if u discover them start chucking dragoons and reevers like there's no tommorrow while u build up ur army for the final rush.

anyway my way to beat the ling rush is chuck pylons in front of the cannons so the lings can't get to the cannons without dieing and pylons hav too much life to kill.

If your opponent is going all hydras, the best way to counter them is with the method I said above. Upgraded zealots will totally own hydras if you send enough of them. Dragoons own hydras also. If he hits your 3 bases at once, then what do you think arbiters are for? You can transport guys from any spot, to any spot in a matter of seconds using arbiter's recall, so just keep an arbiter at each base. Also, keep an arbiter near his base and if he sends all his guys, go into his main base and warp 12 dragoons or so into it and kill off his main base, that will usually be enough to get him to recall. All this said and done, the fact is...like I said above, there is no easy way to beat a good zerg as toss. You need to be creative. If you think you can beat a zerg who makes all hydras by just making zealots and dragoons, or any other type of units, you're nuts. Hydras are too cheap and can be made too fast... so you need to use the tools that are given to you, such as Reavers, Archons & Arbiters. Also, another good weapon is temp's storm... and dark archons as well. Start using arbiters though. I know they are hard to get, but work up to them and once you get them, use recall like mad.

What are you talking?Zealots vs hydras-no way!Either use masses of dragoons and templats for p storms(most of the time).Reavers are good too if surrounded by other units.ArchOns are not good vs zerg.aND DRAgoons are much stronger with the upgrade from cyb core than zealots.
This is all:mass dragoons, many templars, severla reavers. You can counter even air units -guardians,,devorers but this is not better than if you use corsairs and scouts.
